easy asparagus

do you ever have a really hard day and just want something easy (and good) to cook? i did the other day. these take about 5 minutes to prepare, maybe less, and they’re a great switch up to the normal salads, brussels, avocado mash…etc. i ate it with trader joe’s wonton soup.

easy asparagus

1 bunch of asparagus, ends chopped off

1/4 cup soy sauce

ginger to zest over

1. preheat oven to 425°f.

2. place asparagus in the pan and pour soy sauce over, top with ginger (i use some that i keep in my freezer, makes it easier to zest).

3. bake in the oven for 25 minutes. done.

  1. Love the frozen ginger tip!

    1. thanks tina! have you ever done the same with chipotle chilis in adobe? the one other thing i freeze…
